About Us
NextGen Cloud Service Portal is a technical resource publishing breakdowns of cloud hosting, bare-metal servers, and VPS environments for developers and sysadmins.
What we publish
Our library covers the practical side of infrastructure: how bare-metal compares with cloud virtual machines, when edge computing genuinely helps, what a CI/CD pipeline looks like once you actually build one, and how to read a hosting specification sheet without being misled by marketing language. Every article is written for someone who has to make a technical decision.
Who it is for
Developers, system administrators and technical founders evaluating infrastructure providers. We assume you already know what a VPS is, and that you would rather see the trade-offs set out plainly than be told a product is simply “the best”.
Our internal advertising analytics tool
Behind the publication we run our own advertising campaigns, and we build the tooling to measure them. We maintain an internal analytics tool that connects to advertising platforms — including the Google Ads API — and pulls campaign performance data into a reporting dashboard.
The tool does two things:
- Reporting. It collects cost, click, impression and conversion metrics and calculates return on ad spend, so we can see which campaigns are actually earning their budget.
- Campaign management. Based on those figures, it can increase, reduce or pause campaigns that we run for our own properties.
The tool is internal. It is not sold, licensed or offered to the public, and it only ever connects to an advertising account where the account owner has granted access through an explicit Google OAuth authorisation. How that data is handled is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Editorial independence
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commission rates never determine what we recommend, and we do not accept payment for positive coverage.
Corrections
Infrastructure pricing and specifications change constantly. If you spot something out of date, or a factual error, tell us and we will verify and correct it. You can reach us through the contact page.
